Opening Act

Throughout history we've seen influential grops mmet their demise over ego and power struggles. Michael Jordan and Phil Jackson, John Lennon & Paul McCartney were embroiled in an ego filled battle that ultimately tore the Beatles apart. That wasn't the case with John the Baptist and Jesus. John understood that his calling was to point people to the main attraction - Jesus. John waited for 3 decades for the moment he was designed for. At that appointed time he began preparing the way for the ministry of Jesus by preaching a message of repentance and baptism.
